Unhappy And the stress is back!!!!

For those of you who have been members here for a while, you know that my daughter #1 has battled a drug addiction for the past five years. Well, she is on the losing end of that battle again.
She's left the house again and totalled my car yesterday. Physically she is fine, but again, I am now stuck with a car that is inoperable and still unpaid for. I'll be contacting the insurance company this afternoon to work through the details, but for now, I have no transportation. It was a reclaimed car to start with, (which meant it was totalled before I bought it).

She had made it to her third semester in college, then one of her old friends got out of jail and contacted her... it was all over but the crying then!

Anyway, I've got to keep myself healthy, as daughter #2, granddaughter #1 and puppy #1 are still living with me ! I have turned my worries over to God and just have to let it go. I can't let the stress take me back to where I was five years ago.

For you newbies, I've come a long long way in the last 7 years!
Seven years ago, my mom committed suicide, my husband left me, my 16 year old daughter had a baby, my 18 year old daughter got addicted to meth and took off with her gang member boyfriend. I was diagnosed with PN, had trouble with medications and wound up in a wheelchair due to the pain. I got laid off, and was out of work for three years, lost my car, lost my home, couldn't afford my medication, and my life was a wreck.

I have been back to work now for 18 months. My daughter #1 was clean and sober for 14 months. My daughter #2 and granddaughter left her loser boyfriend and moved back in with me into our rented house. I have medical insurance for myself and Daughter #2. My medication, lowered stress level, healthy eating, and loss of 30 pounds had reduced my PN to almost no pain, just numbness!

I will NOT let it come back! I am keeping my job, not allowing the stress to make me sick again ! However, I have a 2 hour commute each way to work. I have to walk 1 mile to the train, then take another train after that. I leave the house at 5:30am and get home at 7:00pm.

I'm trying to get a transfer to an office closer to home, but times are tough and jobs are scarce!

What a mess huh? I hope the job comes through, and your daughter gets back to where she was. God speed.
