I have painful burning and the Head neuro at Bangkok hospital put me on 300mg of Lyrica and 25 mg nortriptolyne straight up. I was in La La land for a week.
Didnt tell me that I needed to titrate down if I quit so I quit cold turkey and had zero side effects probably because I didnt know there were any LOL.

IMO there would be many on Lyrica at way to higher dose. I get the same relief on 75mgs that I got at 300mgs and feel pleasantly light headed.

I dont have any side effects from Lyrica and love it

Thanks again, Bob, yep, I think the titration is off. She gave me a schedule which would have gone like this:

Day 1 - am 600 gab., pm 600 gab., hs 75 Lyrica

Day 2 - am 600 gab., pm 75 Lyrica., hs 75 Lyrica

Day 3 - Lyrica, Lyrica, Lyrica 75 mg each.

Sounds a little too quick????

I think that a 3 day switch is too quick .
At least 5-7 days, keeping you at an interval
so you have at least one day in-between,
and at a lower 50mg increase
2-3 days in-between would be a conservative
and cautious titration for the switch.
I think that the body needs time to adjust,
and you need to keep watch for s/e at the intervals.

Somewhere on this website is a post I did on getting lost in the parking lot of Dollar General, while on Lyrica....or was it Neurontin. Oh heck, 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

I did eventually figure out which was the gas, brake and clutch pedal.....and which way was East.
