I talked to an accupunturist and I found out they are rather expensive
I would be willing to pay for accunputure but I am worried that it might make
the pain in my legs worse and the big question
Does anyone think that it can help with the terrible leg and foot pain that I have
I can't walk , sit , stand or sleep without vicaden and ambien plus unisom and meletonin - Nothing I try helps with the pain , heat , cold , messagers vibrators , gadjets I send for , nothing alliviates the pain
So maybe accunpunture might helP , what do you all think ?
can it make my condition worse ? Did it help anyone out there

I've had SFPN for many years now and tried accupuncture early on in my search for a treatment It was performed by my neurologist at that time who was a Chinese physician who was a very skilled accupuncturist also. In my particular case it didn't give me much relief from the specific type of pain that I have and continue to have but she did perscribe for me a topical cream that had to be made at a compounding pharmacy for my feet - that did help some.
Although everyone reacts differently to accupuncture it is critical to find a skilled practitioner with whom you are comfortable. Hope you find one and that they can provide you with some relief. Best of luck

It depends on person some people benefit from it others not.I did atleast a 100 electro acapuncture sessions and it it will take away your pain but you have to be prepaired to go all the way.
Give it atleast 20 sessions and then you know.My issues at the moment are how do I get ridge of the numbness under my feet.For that i am now trying regulair acapuncture but i am also looking at stemcell therapy

I have tried it, but can't say it helped. If you go to a competent practitioner,
I can't imagine it would make anything worse, so it's worth a try. This damned PN is as variable in the possibility of pain relief as it is in the symptoms we have.
Acupuncture is at least non-addictive and much less harmful than 99% of the stuff pushed by the pharmaceutical industry.

I have neuropathic pain in my face and ear. It is horrendous.
I take medications, but also use acupuncture. It has been helpful. I'm hoping by doing this, I won't have to take as much narcotic for breakthrough pain.

It did not work for me, but it does seem to help others. It is worth a shot. I would try 3-5 appointments, and discontinue if it does not help.

Hi folks
Does anyone has an opinion as to Injections of local anesthetics such as lidocaine , I believe cortozoine is also used in conjection with Lidocaine
does anyone have had experiences with these injections ?
I once had a licopaine patch for neck pain and it caused really severe pain more then I ever had due to that patch
So i wonder if these injections can make the pain worse or help with the pain
in my feet ankles and above the knee from periferial neuropathy
