Default Can't sit, can't lay down...please help!

Hi,
I need some advises please...i am desperate and exhausted.
it has been over 6 months and my drs are still trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I think i have some kind of PN though. I first had tingling in hands and pain in shoulders. A month later feet start to tingle. I have pain on the back of my legs when i am sitting down, so i cant really sit. i have more pain in my arm/hand/shoulder if i am lying on the side, so had been sleeping on my back.
Starting one day last week (after i got a cold), all of a sudden i would have bad nerve pain on my lower back, and my feet would feel freezing when i am lying on my back, even though they are warm to touch. The freezing/chill feeling would go up to my spine and it is unbearable. Now i can't sit, and cant lay down. I didnt sleep for 4days. Last night i first tried gralise, which seemed to help me get some sleep, but today i felt like a zombie and still had pain, so i am not planning to take it again. i am sleep deprived and exausted everyday, on top of tingling/pain in my hands/arms/shoulders/low back. I need to be able to function in order to talk care of my two young children. Any advices on how to get some rest would be appreciated...thank you.

Ps. I am taking most of the supplements mentioned here. All my blood tests/mri came back normal.

Welcome to NeuroTalk:

"Normal" is not adequate for B12 levels. That is because labs in the US still report using the OLD values, which go down to low 200's. New treatment protocols are in place today, with 400 as the most acceptable low. So please get your numerical results on your B12 test, if you had one. If you didn't have this done, you should do it ASAP, because if you are low, you are getting damaged every day. Get a Vit D level done at the same time,
because low D is also very common.

Next, look at any drugs you are taking now for other things.
This includes blood pressure. Have you been on any antibiotics recently? Which ones. Do you take statins for cholesterol?
Did you have an A1C measured? If not it would be good to know what yours is.

I was already taking vb12 when i had the test done so i will never know. It was high, over 1000. Today i have terrible thoughts, not sure if it is because i took 1gralise and stopped. I have been depressed. But this is horrible. I have a lot of anxiety, and feel like giving up, and feel like my husband is giving up on me too. I am scared. Am i going through the withdraw? And i have more pain today. Pls help.

I agree with Mrs D about A1c. Get that test. Vit D also. There are great things you can try for nerve health with diet and supplements. I hope you can find a doctor that knows how to help. There is a lot here on the forum to help and Mrs. D and everyone will help a lot. I am sorry about what you are going through.

My a1c was 5.8 which according to my dr was normal, but seems a bit high according to my research. My v-d was insufficient 27.7 so i have been taking d-3. My glucose was 86 and 96 (got tested twice). I am not sure what these mean..i am so lost i don't know what to do. I feel like i am going crazy literaly.
