I can empathize with everyone on the pain issue.

After many years...and trying so many different approaches to pain treatment, over and over again, I find myself staying with the opiates.
Morphine 3xday and dilaudid for breakthrough pain.

These do not totally relieve pain for me; yet, they help.
So many meds had so many side-effects and some of them gave me worse pain immediately.
Some of the meds used for neuropathic pain spark an autoimmune condition for me right away, too.

I am always looking at new options.

I sincerely hope everyone can find adequate pain relief.

I am very interested in knowing if this helps with bodywide pain conditions. And if so, is it very longlasting relief??

Hi Rae
I am going into hospital tomorrow to get the infusion, woohoo - I cant wait until Wednesday, I might wake up pain free - my pain manager said he is expecting it to work for 6-8weeks, fingers crossed and I will keep you posted

I am very keen to know how this will affect you. Good I hope. I have read a bit about this procedure - still pretty new here.

My best of hopes with you, Mere

Thanks so much Mere - so far so good, I have started another thread on this and intend to add to this every day and hopefully my progress will be positive for other folks.
