Do they know what you suffer from? For me sometimes it is just better to say I am having health issues that don't allow me to do X for now.
The worst nags are all coworkers , they are with me 8 hours a day, 5 days a week..they know. I have so many intolerances and am extremely sensitive to gluten, (the tiniest cross contamination makes me ill for weeks). I will not eat away from my own kitchen, and still...can you try this, you want me to get you that, how about a drink (I haven't been able to drink alcohol for 10 yrs....Maybe they think they are being considerate, but they are only doing it for themselves. It's much more considerate of me to just leave me alone, let me enjoy what is going on around me, and do not pressure me.

I was never a dancer before I couldn't dance..I have always been a watcher. I love to watch people!

It's nice to be in a crowd that understands.

Thing is, for all the 'ettiquete' folks have been raised with or on? They don't KNOW or have a clue what to do when someone hits world. I don't get it!

Thats great! People do seem to get embarassed when they see someone fall and ask stupid questions as you so eloquently point out. Or, they just get a look of distaste... My husband asked me the same thing when I fell; "Why did you do that?". WTF.

I have always felt that the world would be a better place if others could focus and keep comments to themselves unless they are asked.
Darlinde some people I do feel it is out of care and they think they are helping but others I feel it is just be nosey and liking to tell people what to do. Have you ever said to your co workers if I eat X I may end up the hospital. Sometimes I have to give an ex. For me I really don't expect people to understand what I do expect is for them to not comment or suggest things that they have no clue about. I get more dumb suggestions on how to get better from people it is unreal to me. My grandfathers gf is the best at that and then I go what do I suffer from and she can't even tell me but is the first to yell at me for not trying things like yoga. Ok sorry for my rant. I hope you have people too who are caring and can support you in some ways

Daniella...of course I have very supportive friends and yes, everyone at my work knows my limitations. I have worked with these people for 6 yrs, and I have been like this since the day they met me! They still behaved that way..that's the part that makes it difficult. It's very uncomfortable when others repeatedly "nag" is the only word I can think of. I just wanted to watch and enjoy the party, yet I left with a tummy ache simply because they stressed me out.

I guess we understand better than anyone else, and we know enough not to nag. I do ask others if I can help them with something, if they say they are fine, I don't ask again. Asking once is ok, it's that again and again and again that gets too us.

You should of said, "Just checking to see if you are paying attention!":p
