Mine's mostly in between, sometimes dry & flaky (and itchy)
and sometimes yellowish/brown and waxy (after showering),.
Middle European descent. Polish/German/English.
I never easily fall into any simple category.
My doc always says, with a raised eyebrow & a frown -
"...you use Q-tips in your ears, don't you.....?!!"
& I say. sheepishly (knowing I'm doing wrong-but it helps me):
....."Yeah, doc - howdja know?"
she sez "..... hmm...."

My Mother's family is Dutch, Dad's family is German/Dutch.

Have you ever seen what the wax looks like after they flush it from your ears? Like stones.
