Flying does not bother me at all, but then, I am not stressed about it either. Providing I don't get too over heated during the time before take off when the air is not on, I am fine.

I tend to believe it has more to do with stress and anxiety.

Glad this thread was picked back up :)

I don't have a need or reason to fly but if I did I'm sure I would not go unless it was urgent. I can barely handle WalMart so I know an airport is pretty much out of the question for me :)

Traveling in a car is awful for me....the vibrations I'm guessing. We have a family vacation every May and go to St George Island, FL.....last year was the first time we had gone since this SFN started....6 1/2 hour drive and was wondering if I would ever be able to go back. Figured it out this past Dec when my daughter and son in law took us to PCB over the Holidays......I sit in the back seat with lots of pillows and blankets. I mostly keep my legs up on the seat but if I am sitting up I make sure my feet are on a pillow and not touching the floorboard.

I'm looking forward to our trip this May.

The vibrations set me off too. Last time we flew we used a wheelchair in the airport- it made a huge difference for me. Family bathrooms too- I haven't got the lift to get up without support and if I can't reach my cane I feel very helpless.
