Heart problems can cause pain that one would never relate to the cardiac realm.
Deep muscle aches in the neck, back, shoulders can be symptoms.
There is no rhyme or reason to what can hurt or ache due to something going on with the heart.
I would suggest that the doctor look into this.
I am only saying this because I know first hand that heart attacks or problems can cause symptoms that would never, ever make one think of heart related problems at all.

Finally, an update
 

Hi friends,
I had said I would update on my hubby when all of his tests were in, can't believe how long it took to get results back from his prostate biopsy.
First, he was sent to a rheumy for his shoulder and hip pain, we just found out this week that he has seronegative rheumatoid arthritis, he is presently tapering of prednisone so we can go in and see about a course of methotrexate and hydroqu???(quinine) among other things.
He took that well, he hated his colonscopy because they found numerous polyps, some quite large, and he hates pain.
What he really, really hated was the prostate biopsy given because his father had cancer there at about the same age(52)and then it was a nail biting two weeks before the urologist called, the result is he has ASAP, or what the doc called precancer cells and he has to have another biopsy in five months. I don't know what all the doc told him because he retreated to his man cave (garage) with tears in his eyes and I learned years ago that is where he goes when he needs to sort things out. I can't find much out about this condition, only that it most probably indicates cancer as they detected a bunch of abnormal cells, I will keep looking and in the future will attend all his doc appts with him, he is new to this as he has been healthy all his life.
Ironic, I told him when I was diagnosed with PN that he'd better stay in shape in case I needed to him to push my wheelchair.
Saw my neuro yesterday, nothing new with me, just a wee bit of pain and stiffness from the PN but Lyrica is working well for me, weight gain aside. I told him that hubby and I are living proof that stress kills, six years ago we began a roller coaster of incidents and tragedies that have come at us non-stop and it is taking its toll. My co-workers say they can't believe I can function and haven't gone crazy, I tell them I plan on it as soon as I can find the time.

I know that feeling all to well Janna, I still havent found the time to go bonkers yet. My streak is only 5 1/2 years so far of death, injuries, operations, illnesses and general calamity. I hope everything works out for you and your husband. The cave thing was pretty funny.

Oh, I'm sorry about the preCA, I had a colonoscopy not too long ago and can relate to the anxiety just before the procedure and the wait for results. Fortunately, they didn't find anything. I'm glad Mrs D found the info on utilizing antioxidants for treatment

chocolate is an antioxidant ! ;) :)
