Seems
Just be very careful while taking topamax.Have a bone density test done at least once a year.
Also since topamax can cause kidney stones...you shouldn't take calcium with it.
It's better to get your calcium from food.Hard i know..But a must!
I have been on a med break for almost 2 weeks now.
Before this,i had been on it for a year.
I can feel a big change w/out it,so i'm gonna go back on it very soon!
When my legs are cramping off.. i get some bananas and i start out eating 2 per day for the first few days. Then 1 per day after.
I told my mom about this as well and it works for her.
She gets cramps so bad that her foot turns inward.
I hope life in general starts to turn around for you soon girl!
Your in my thoughts and prayers:hug:

Sorry if it's already ..

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked. Have you had a workup for autoimmune causes of PN? You can find it at www.lizajane.org. I'm asking because my PN started in my feet and has spread to include my legs, hips and now the middle of my back..and I have it in my hands. Mine is caused from Sjogren's which is an autoimmune disease.
