Default cidp

Hi, I've had CIDP since 2009 and have been receiving IVIG. I have returned back to regular living for 15 mos and sadlly just relapsed.
My fingers tingle so much and wondered if anybody has any suggestions of what to take to stop of ease up on the tingling as i need my fingers for work to type on a keyboard.
I have tried amitryptiline - but so far no change although I've only been on it for a week. Not sure when this drug kicks in?
I'm hoping my ivig treatment will work and give me back my quality of life i enjoyed for the last 15 mos.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

Default WELCOME! Cornelia!

What you are going thru is a scary phase rite now? I'd try and get copies of your blood tests? CBC [Complete Blood Count] and CMP [Complete Metabolic Panel] to see what all youve got 'problems' with?
The CBC is like this to 'varying degrees':
http://www.labtestsonline.org/unders.../cbc/test.html
The CMP is here:
http://www.labtestsonline.org/unders...mp/glance.html
Now that trying to understand this all? Your brain turns to mush? I do believe it is meant to be.

There are other resources, now that you know what to look for...
No one here can/should/will diagnose you? We aren't doctors, we are patients! But, we can, based on our experiences, steer you in the right directions. Take a gander at those tests and go from there? Please.
AND Post more and let us know what all is going on! 's - j
PS I've had CIDP since '2003! Been on IVIG since '04. Ask away!
