Essential tremor is a specific condition caused by a gene mutation. I don't think its related to damaged/compromised nerves.

I get chronic muscle spasms in my neck which are being caused by inflamed nerves exiting my spine so it makes sense to me that nerves effect muscle. My PCP has told me that the twitches I feel are related to PN and that he hears this from all of his PN'ers. I'm waiting to run this all by my neuro at one of the teaching institutions, but I have no reason to doubt my PCP.
