Default Off Topic!! But you have to do this!!!

Okay, for all of you who are having "not such a good pain day", I guarantee that this will take your mind off of PN for a long time.

Click on this link: Do what it self and then please let me know how this darn thing works?? I've done this at least 20 times and it always works.

I sent it to my son (the math genius) who couldn't figure it out)

There has to be a gimmick but darn if I can figure it out.

Give it a whirl. You'll get your mind on something very interesting.

very mysterious, that's all I can say.

The symbols next to the numbers change every time you click play again...if you go down every row and subtract from the number you pick what the number added together equals the symbol wil always be the same for every number you pick.....for example if you pick 99 its 99-18which is 81 . of course you get the 18 by adding the two numbers of the original number together..9+9=18. If you go down the row without hitting play again you will see that every number picked will have the answer of the same symbol..when you click play again they change but again if you do the math on every number on the board you will see the answer is the same symbol.

I know that the symbols change everytime you play a new round. I understand that much. But how is it that you can use, lets say the nubmers 22, 48, 64, 99, etc . etc. follow the rules and each and EVERY TIME THE SYMBOL will be the same?

Can't figure it out.

because no matter what number you pick when you do the math the answer symbol is the same..check i out...just run down the numbers starting with 99 and you will see what i mean....every answer has teh same symbol

Yes, Joe. I figured the same thing. At first I was amazed but figured that no matter what number I choose the answer results in the same symbol. If you refresh the screen then the symbols change but will still be the same no matter what you pick. It ws fun, Melody.

Yup, no matter what combination you choose,
it always comes up that symbol.
Mine was the snowflake.
I did 7 different calculations (without clicking on the crystal ball)
and no matter what the answer came up to be
it = a number that had the snowflake pattern.

Yeah, we ALL KNOW THAT IT WORKS with no matter what two numbers you add together. BUT WHY???
That's what I want to know.

Is this algebra, a mathematical equation!!!

Even my son can't figure out WHY??

See, I know THAT it works, I would love to know how the heck it always comes up with the same symbol. ALL THE TIME.

We need some math geniuses here!!!!!
