I'm hanging in there! The red spots went away within a few days and the Lyrica started working. In fact, it works really well on the face pain most days. (I can feel it, but it's not overwhelming. Whew.) I had an interesting visit with a new chiropractor yesterday. He's one of those who practice "functional neurology." His exam was more thorough than my neurologist's and there were some surprises. While my pain is more severe on the left side, most of the neurological deficits were on the right. Right eye not tracking correctly, very low bp on right side, balance issues, etc. Abnormal reflexes on both sides. He was also intrigued by the thumb issues, which he says take up a lot of real estate in the brain. He was not concerned about anything spine-related and only did a couple minor adjustments. Anyone else see a chiropractic neurologist? Has it helped?
I also studied up on B-12 and switched to methylcobalamin. All 3 tests came back normal, but since my dad has that issue I've decided to go ahead and take it.
