Default L-Tyrosine ?

In my last order from vitacost.com, I received L-Tyrosine instead of L-Lysine. I must have mis-ordered.

So, now that I have it, is L-Tyrosine any good for me and my SFN?

Thanks.

Lightbulb

Tyrosine is the precursor for thyroid hormone manufacture.

It also is converted to dopamine, norepi and epinephrine.

In really high doses, it can cause elevated blood pressure, but at modest amounts is not likely to do so. I wouldn't go over 500mg a day.

Some people with ADD/ADHD try it to improve dopamine levels.
