yes

I had pretty bad bronchitis, and so did my husband. My husband went to GP,and he gave him antibiotics. I was expecting a relative to come visit, and had no time to go to GP for myself,so I swiped 2 tablets from his pack. The PN was literally just a few days away.

I don't know what sort they were though. I don't think I took enough to cause anything,as I only had 2. But I really don't know what they were, I just know they were not penicillan based as my husband is allergic.

I may be wrong, but I am under the impression that antibiotic damage is primarily lenghth dependant. I was ravaged by this whatever "autoimmune attack", from head to toe. Head being first.

this sounds allergic...

brain fog, and hot feelings.

I would look to your diet and try some elimination trials of common allergens.

Wheat, corn, dairy, chocolate, etc.

Do one at a time for 2 weeks and see if you feel better.

There might be some surprises there. One hint is that you should look at
whatever you crave/enjoy the most. We tend to react to and crave that
which makes us sick, believe it or not!

antibiotics

Some people have been ravaged by as little as one pill of these type of anti's. For some people that's all it takes. Just find out if it was a fluoroquinolone. If it wasn't, I wouldn't worry. If it was, google in the side effects. Many people have been injured and not even connected the two.

I need to get my husbands medical records

transfered. That is the only way I will know what antibiotic it was. I tried to call the doctor but he would not give me the information, and he said the records can be transfered to my husbands new GP only. I then called the chemist for a statement receipt for the year, and they printed a statement for me, but all the names of the scripts were blanked out. They just displayed the costs of the scripts.
Lets suppose one was injured by antiobiotics, do they ever recover?

Thanks Mrs. D, I will also look at my diet, yesterday I was very very ill,and I had enormous amount of internal heat feeling. I took my kid for swim lessons, and thought I was going to pass out in the club due to the humidity in there. This has never happened before. I was slow and lethargic. Even my aircon on full blast in my car offered little relief.

I went home, and got in bed,and turned the aircon on me at full blast again, and it felt like it was only the fan blowing. I felt no coolness at all.

I took my temp and it was normal, and all I did was pray that today would be a better day. Sometimes that's all you can really do. The OTC painkillers did not do a thing to help me yesterday. Since I have not had pain like this in really about 1 year. I had not requested any pain meds from my doctor, and I also don't take any other meds except for my BP medications now on a daily basis.

This pain and immense heat feeling have been going on since the 8th of this month. I can barely make it through the nights. A lightbulb went on in my head last night as I lay awake in pain, I have some emergency xanax, for when I have one of those episodes I have discussed in earlier posts with my spike in BP & subsequent anxiety. I thought ok you can't take anymore OTC pain meds at this stage becuase I had already taken as much as the label said is allowable. So instead I took a xanax. I was sleeping 45 minutes later.

This just goes to show you that people like us have to have a wide variety off meds on hand as symptoms are so unpredicatable. I have had level 8 pain since the 8th of this month with no releif except for last night when I finally took that xanax.
