Hi all. I have been a member here for years, but not posted much. I am at a point where I am frustrated, confused, depressed and hurting.
I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy a few years ago. I have been seeing a rheumatologist in NYC who has diagnosed some type of autoimmune small vessel vasculitis. I am C-Anca - Proteinase- ANA positive. I am now on Immuran for the autoimmune, neurontin and cymbalta for the neuropathy. I am finding that my legs are very weak. I was always athletic, but now having trouble getting up. Walking is tough, I am afraid on stairs, it almost feels at times that I am unsure on my legs. I have an appointment scheduled for December at the Columbia Neuropathy center. Just wondering if anyone can help me in any way. Your input would be greatly appreciated. I don't like how my legs feel. I can't even get down on the floor to play with our new puppy.. nevermind trying to get up!! Thanks |
