Default finally got relief

For several years had my pain down to2-4.Surviveable. Last fall i would wake up with 8-9 and it would take me several hours to lower the pain.

July i told my pain Doc. i needed help. A new drug combo was approved this year. Morphine IR 15 mg.+MELTREXONE HYDROCHLORIDE. I take one in the morning and my regular Mrphine SR 30 mg. at night. I awake with pain at 1-2 and no flare ups during the day.

I thank my Savior JESUS for guiding me to ways to lower my pain.

I praise JESUS for healing my feet of this horrible desease. My church prays for my healing twice a week.

JESUS will either heal me here on earth or when he calls me home.

George

I'm so glad that you have gotten relief, and that you have a wonderful group of believers to fellowship with that are interceding for you often!

I also struggle with degenerative disc disease, disc desiccation, spondylolisthesis, arthritis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) with insulin resistance, allergies, sound sensitivities, and other health problems.

Default hi sarah

Ihave been blessed. To know JESUS and belong to a church that believes in the healing power of JESUS.Most of the people here want to know why and what caused their PN.They spend millions of dollars and time searching and never find out.

I know what caused mine, ZOCOR. I called the makers years ago for help or information. They said they had nothing even though they knew it could cause PN. I tell people to forget the cause and find a Pain Doc. to help you get relief.

For 2 years i took everything but got no relief. One day the Doc. said Morphine. I have been taking it for 8 years.

Hello,
Zocor caused my PN over six years ago and have tried about everything for the pain, for the past year the best has been Methadone am now down to 5mg 3 times a day. Started playing with some hard drive magnets three days ago and tonight no lower back pain. God help me, I love you, please forgive me and thank you.

Default Zocor

Hi, Stagger -

Read your reply that Zocor caused your PN. Would you please tell me how you know this for certain?

I was on it for 12 years, and was struck by the neuropathy overnight in January. When I saw a rheumatologist, because it was thought I had Sjogren's syndrome from which neuropathy can result, he told me to get off Zocor immediately, which I did.

Thanks,

Sheltiemom

Ecklonia Cava, Curcumin and Resveratrol are antioxidant rich natural alternatives for pain? These powerfull alternatives not only reduce pain greatly but stabilize blood sugar, and possibly halt and or reverse degeneration. I would encourage anyone on the heavy stuff to research these. They have been very helpful to me and others on other forums at stopping progression.

I have never even heard of any of those.. but maybe I will have to do some research and find out what they are and where to go them.. and if they seem to do any good if the PN is severe... unless they are only in pill form... then it's out of the question for me.

Hello,
Upon retirement I had a major medical exam and found high cholesterol, was put on Zocor and six weeks later feet and legs felt weird, did a search on internet and found the old BT forum plus a few others. Made copies and took them to my pcp and started neurotin. VA started testing (polyneuropathy), quit taking the Zorcor. This is very brief summery, but I can say concerning PN been there done that. Six years later and now have prostate, bladder problems. If you think PN is bad a bout of prostatits is worse, can't walk, can't sit.
