Carnitine is for mito damage....and statins cause that as a side effect (separate from the liver enzyme suppression).

I have had a sunburn like feeling in my knee area at times, it can last for a month or so, then go away like it never happened. Have had other sensations do the same......a vibration in foot, leg, arm stay for months, then go away.

My doc just increased my Cymbalta to 90, said she goes up for neuro pain. I am also on 1200 mg. Gabapentin, helping somewhat.

Both Crestor and Cymbalta have liver warnings with them. So careful monitoring of your liver functions should be done often, to make sure you are not running into an additive problem there.

if your doctor put you on lyrica 300mg straight up its no wonder you couldnt handle it. IMO it takes around 3 months (for me) for lyrica side effects to start diminishing. Thats a long time to put up with effects but its worth it in the end.

I had been taking 75mg at night for a couple months. He increased to 150mg at night a 75mg in the morning for 7 days and then increased to 150mg twice a day. Since I've been completely off Lyrica I realize that even at 75mg I was having side effects I just didn't attribute to Lyrica.

Did the doctors start you at 300 mg of Lyrica? That is alot to start out with. My doc started me at 50 mg. twice a day and although I had some strong side effects, I am glad I waited it out and within a week I was adjusting pretty well, then I added another 50 mg. a day. Now I'd say I'm adjusted 90% to the side effects after 10 days. And the Lyrica is working so much better than Gabapentin. I think that these Dr.s just sometimes start people way too high on the dose and then we give up. I always tell them start me on a kid dose.
