Default Nerve and muscle specialist?

I'm currently on 600 mg Lyrica daily. I'm feeling some progression and asked my neuro what her thoughts were. She said to either (a) repeat the nerve conduction test which was done last November or (b) see a nerve and muscle specialist.

I've never heard of such a person. Anyone else have such a referral?

Extra information -- I'm with Kaiser Permanente (I know, just marginally better than having no health insurance).

Lightbulb

Neuromuscular specialists are now taking up the slack from generalized neuros. The teaching hospitals are converting to them now for myasthenia gravis, and other disorders affecting both nerves + muscles. It appears that Neurologists want to keep the biggies...like PD and MS ( CNS central conditions).
