Default Had skin biopsy done, only 2 spots?

Okay, went for the skin biopsy today. Dr. was new to me, a dermatologist that my neuro referred me to. He was going to only do one spot and I insisted on all 3. He got very mad and yelled and me, slammed door in our face when we (husband and I) asked him to call Therapath and double check. Finally after alot of huffing and puffing on his part, he did agree that it should be done all 3 spots....but then the kit that they got from Therapath only had 2 vials in it! So, he did do 2 spots, on the upper leg by hip and then the ankle area, no foot.

So I called Therapath and they said 2 spots was okay....preferably upper leg and then above ankle.

The way the person with an illness has to fight for the proper testing, etc.....why not cover as many areas as possible, especially when one has pain/sensations all over body. I too had to be firm about wanting 3 areas done. Might as well, the more areas the more chance of "it" showing.......

I'm sure it has something to do with insurance.....Dr's are being more conservative than they should be, therefore sometimes missing or under diagnosing patients. So wrong..........
