Default Do you get aches?

Do any of you also get deep muscle aches? Is that caused by neuropathy?

I don't get muscle aches, that sounds more like a Fibromyalgia symptom.

Sometimes I wonder just how closely related Neuropathy and Fibromyalgia may be, but possibly not recognized as medically related yet. They don't know a lot about Fibromyalgia, some Docs don't even define it as a medical dx.......I have often wondered if undiagnosed neuro pain couldn't be a neuro form of Fibromyalgia that hasn't hit the books yet!

Just my own thoughts.........

I do. I don't have fibromyalgia either unless the doctors have been wrong but I have seen many. For me I have limited range of motion. I know my body is very stiff due to the pain so why I think I ache. I also have lack of circulation I feel and get cramping which I think makes me ache. Do you have any meds that may give you relief? Have you looked into fibromyalgia or other conditions that may contribute to this?

I think they are related, but then in these bodies of ours, how can anything not be related, it's all relevant, right?

I have deep muscle pain, yet as many others here, neuropathy is not my only issue. Being severely gluten intolerant and not knowing it for 20 yrs or more, led to many issues in my body. My mom tells me to watch out for fibromyalgia, she has it as do her sisters. She has major back issues and neck, I have neck/shoulders/back issues. She had terrible headaches for years, I have terrible headaches, as do my brother and sister...plus my kids.

I have not been diagnosed with fibro, I do have chronic fatigue syndrome, which I find are closely related.
