Default Benfotiamine

Does anyone have any information on the safety and effectiveness of this supplement?

In some ways it is appealing that the (synthetic derivative) of Vit. B1 is lipid-soluable rather that water soluable, but my concern is build up in ones system because of this and causing too much of a good thing.

It claims it has been used in Japan and Germany for decades for neuopathy.
