Default First snowfall of the year

It is knee deep in snow outside but still my feet are burning as though they are in a pot of hot oil, so I walked the length of my street in my bare feet- bliss....... The heat has been turned off temporarily although neighbours must think I am insane lol

WOW!

And the occasional ow?
Just be careful, numb feet are dumb feet. In that THEY don't know when they've been somewhere or done something bad.
You have gotten your point across tho, about how it FEELS tho, quite well!

LOL! How did I know your location would say Scotland!

It is a nightmare isn't it?! Where I am in Edinburgh, my car has virtually been buried!

There is actually a road under all that white stuff!

Default Goshes, sounds like you all are getting what....

WE got in DC last winter! No 'envy' here! for sure. Just total and utter sympathy!
Be careful, please, as Echoes says? Frostbite isn't gonna help one bit!

Robin, have you found your car yet? Sure hope so!

Hugs to both of you! BURRR!!!!!!!! - j

Shocked

That is a lot of snow! We a dusting of snow today, and more expected in the next two days.

I used to love the snow, but now a days it is just hard for me to get around in! I have to use my hiking pole outside all the time when there is snow or ice!

Please be careful and avoid slips/falls!

Default Country is at a standstill

Yes everyone it is very cold here! - minus ten degrees at the moment and snow is now waist deep- this is the worst snowfall I have ever seen - and like Robin I cannot find my car, but that is ok, I work in our local college and it closed on Monday as the travel conditions are so bad - we are hoping to re-open on Monday - even the trains are off. Our wee country is just not set up for weather like this.
My husband keeps muttering to himself asking where gobal warming has gone to - he is the outdoor type and we havent been able to travel anywhere since Saturday, the walls are now closing in on him I think.
For me I am having a great time, I have enlisted the childrens help in cleaning each room and I havent had to wear shoes, every snow cloud has a silver lining........
