Default Depends--

--on what kind of sensory neuropathy.

Small fiber neuropathy is by defintion sensory and/or autonomic, as the small fibers are those thinly myelinated and unmyelinated sensory nerves that subsume the sensations of pain and temperature. Small fibers also control the sweat response of the skin, blood pressure, and a number of other autonmoic functions.

There are, however, also sensory nerves in the larger, myelinated nerve trunks--these control positional sense, and sensations of vibration and mechanical touch.

It's not uncommon for people to have mixed symptoms and therefore mixed neuropathy "types".
