Default wellllll....

I actually find him kind of sexy.

I couldn't put my finger on it though. And I like his cane & hobble too. But now you say he is British, and it's all starting to make sense. I knew there was something about him...

You mean you have never heard him on talk shows!!!!???

He has this clipped British accent that is so classy!!!

But you would never know it on HOUSE!!!!

He nails the american accent.

Kind of reminds me of Barry Morse (I know you never heard of him right??). Well, over 40 years ago there was a show on American tv called The Fugitive. It had a detective named Philip Gerard chasing David Jansen's Richard Kimble.

But Richard Kimble didn't kill his wife, the one armed man did it.

All during this series (from 1963) Inspector Gerard had this American Accent.
I thought he was from the United States.

WELL!!! one night, on a late time talk show, Barry Morse comes on, and just sits there and the talk show host goes to him. "Everybody thinks you talk like your character, Inspector Gerard, and the guy laughs and the talk show host goes 'Now let's let the audience hear your real voice!!!.

Well, you could have knocked me off my feet. This guy had a high pitched british accent that sounded NOTHING like he did on tv.

The whole audience went hysterical and it was the BEST!!!!

So every time I listen to Hugh Laurie who plays Greg House, it takes me back in time.

So if any of you wish to hear his REAL voice!!! here's a clip which I got on utube.

Default Thanks, Mel, and by the way,

Do you have a show in America called "Little Britain"? It's a comedy segment, and it's way over the top with raunch humour. But totally addictive.

Little Britain is shown on BBC. And I get BBC on Directv.

I have to look to see if it's on. I'll tell you something funny. There is a cable channel called LOGO.

I had no idea it's a gay cable channel.

You should have seen my face when I was surfing the channels and I come across a show called Noah's Arc. Now don't laugh but because I didn't know it was a channel that shows gay films, here I am, putting the tv on LOGO and I see Noah's Arc, and what does Melody think, but 'OH, A SHOW ABOUT NOAH and the Arc"

Right??? NOOOOOOOO.

It's about 4 gay guys and their relationships. I nearly fell off my bed. I had never seen any kind of "let's say "interaction" between men before and there I was watching this show and these two guys start kissing and I nearly fell off the bed and I'm going "holy (you know what) and Alan comes in and sees what I'm watching. Let's just say the look on his face was priceless!!!!

At least he can't call me "miss goodie two shoes" any more.

I'm now a woman of the world. I've seen Noah's Arc.

Actually, it's a very good show. I taped a whole bunch of episodes.

If Alan only knew!!!!!

hah.

Default Now that's funny...

I like the show "queer eye for the straight guy". Me and my husband watch it together. It's not as funny as it used to be,but that blonde guy is hysterical.

I've not seen the show you are refering to, but I reckon my husband would probably get angry at me for watching something like that, so I would have to sneak, if I wanted to see it. Sad but true, I live with a T-Rex.
