Today she is learning rubber band 101. So far she is also becoming my feline Swiffler duster!... getting into spots I can't reach anymore. I am always cleaning HER off!

However the downside could be 'HAIRBALLS'!!!!!!!!!!! NOT SO MUCH FUN OR HANDY?
At least she's black? So's you can SEE what all dust she's been collecting? Mite justify the cost of extra hairball goop! Also satisfying to see that a 'cat' furball can be a useful furball. Nuff said. !!!!!!!!!!!'s - j |

We also have cotton pipe cleaners for her and plastic twistems, with the ends folded inward...She loves them too because they bounce around. Yesterday it was paper grocery sack day! Cats just love those! I have a play box for her in the kitchen where her tinkle balls are, and she plays in there when we fix food. Keeps her out of the way, so far... We have a member here whose cat stole used dental floss out of the trash and ate it, and became impacted! That saga is on our Pets forum!

MrsD -
Just read about your new kitten, BeeBee - uh, Weezie. SO cute! There's nothing like another pet to help take a bit of the edge away from losing the previous one. Sounds as if you're having a lot of fun with this kitten. That's terrific. She definitely had your name on her was just waiting for you to show up. Best, Sheltiemom |

Yes, she is really working out well so far. She is so loving and smart...I feel blessed it all worked out this way.
It is so much fun watching her learning things. She is a bit cautious, and shy, which the owner said worked against her being adopted..as well being solid black. But both those traits are valued here! Quote:

I coulda sworn I posted yesterday, but anyway- glad you've a new 'baby' around to keep your spirits up. New kittens are an easy distraction from just about anything.
Glad you've 'adopted' again.
