I have recently tried these (not the brand pictured). The new generation work as effectively as a hands on massage. Just wondering since a lot of us spend time sitting , what benefit would there be in having your body massaged in a chair a few hours a day? constant vibration and loosening of muscles and increased blood flow surely MUST help the nerves in extremities?

the ones at airports are tired old uncomfortable things. The new models are so comfy you dont want to get out. My question is to what extent will they help? they certainly wouldn't do any harm thats for sure
Cant post links but they start at $2000 /try "electric massage chair" in google there are a few with prices there |

Check out Ebay too and some have - You can choose new or used, your country , top sellers etc.
some have [BUILT-IN HEAT on the Back & Jade Infrared Heating Hand Massager] I check prices on them every so often. I have a Panasonic that I bought in 1999 and it still works well. I got it mainly for my neck, shoulder & upper back pain - work related Also helps a lot with my alignment when I get a pinch in my low back and I'm in between chiro appts. And if your adventurous they sometimes show up on Craigslist.
