Never thought to go to an oncologist (duh!)

Well...........here's the latest update:

Had CT scan done of Abdomen & Pelvis (what an ordeal, had to drink contrast and had it put in veins.......Yuk! & Ouch! (my veins are small had to get......have a bruise the size of an orange and the color of a plum!)

No findings other than a Fibroid Tumor in Uterus (next stop Gyn)......

**Footnote - CT scan only picks up tumors 2mm or less.......ok so it's not a perfect world, but of course, I'm sure you know what I am thinking.......
"Gee what if mine is under 2mm????!!!!) Doc's answer, "Well, I guess that is possible, but I don't think so." Is that reassurring?? Don't they have to start out small?

Had a Colonoscopy - everything ok on that end.......

Doc's suggestion was to have blood retested in 3 months, he said, I might just run over the highpoint of the curve (20 points over one time, 10 the other.)

Or my thoughts.........my tumor is too small to pick up yet, so once it gets larger and spreads they will be able to see it on CT scan!!!!

ok, so I'm not exactly an optomist, but this is just the cherry on the top of the PN cake!!

Any scolding, support, comments, honest opinions welcome!
