Default A new-old doctor

I finally got to see the doctor who originally tested me. I gave him all the records from the previous doctor who stated I had SFN, and then gave me the osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia line. He said he found problems in the medium nerve fibers of my feet and asked if the tertiary center I visited did my feet. I don't remember them doing them, FWIW. Anyway, he is going to retest me next month and he'll decide about other tests after that. He checked my past blood work and asked about rheumatological conditions, said that Sjogrens has been ruled out by prior blood work and he even said that the punch biopsies weren't totally dependable for the same reasons that I've seen explained here before regarding the range and not knowing where in the range I am. He did note that my prior blood work showed a high sed rate and high complement rate, saying it indicated there is a lot of inflamation going on with me. I also adressed my concerns about hereritary forms and he is also curious about them too. I feel confident that this doctor will do his best to cover all the bases. He wasn't daunted by my multiple conditions and acknowledged that I have a lot going on which is reassuring to me. If I end up idiopathic at the end of it, I'll at least feel as though a real effort has been made from someone with a genuine interest. I'll also post as things progress. EE
