Do they have more support? I usually get the same brand of Nike walking and style just a new pair but they discontinued both models. I have such a hard time with shoes especially since my feet grow by the minute.

I dunno why, but I've learned to buy 2 or 3 pairs at a time (especially if they're on sale) a pair of NB's for work will last me about a year. So I buy a pair in Black for work, brown work/play and/or tan/white-summer play. I have been born with flat feet-no arch at all. So I remove the arch supports & inserts cause they feel like I'm walking with a rock in my shoe. I replace with gel innersoles and foam cushion inserts. But NBs seem to have the toe room and xtra width I need. I've mentioned that Dr. Scholl's havea similar one, too.

I have been wearing the new balance 550 conditioning shoes consistently now and I can feel strength building up slowly in my weak left leg. Also feel the benefits of the muscle groups being worked. They are very comfortable to wear but after about 5 or 6 hours of running errands/going to dog park, I have a restless feeling and can hardly wait to take them off. As soon as I do, that feeling goes away and my feet and legs are fine. As I walk bearfoot (well, in my 2 pair of socks), I can feel the muscles continuing to make me walk correctly. After my current flair is over, I can hardly wait to try them on a treadmil.
