Default hello..been a while

been a while seen I wrote..needed a break from searching endlessly online.
it was a good break no added stress.

In the mean time had my 24 urine for magnesium and calcium done.
magnesium was normal but calcium was severly low.
ALl the blood for calcium , potassium and magnesium are and have always been normal.

I have an appt with a nephrologist soon.

still suffereing...

My muscle are tight from head to toe. literally feels like my muscles and skin are 5 sizes too small for my body and I try to move thru that.
It burns like it would burn during workouts yest its all day and resting.
will ask doc to ceck for uric acid levels

Thats what happens,, neck siezes up at the smae time mid back.
if any one has had tmj understands the tightness in face. so its like that all over.

i am starting new calcium and mag..ionic fizz
and other stuff..hoping something helps

hope every one here has been doing good.

I wondered where you have been. I can't blame you for taking a break, searching and searching can be very exhausting I know.

Sometimes you just want to try to forget this is all happening for a while, not that it is easy to do that with symptoms persisting. Sorry to hear of your symptoms, some of them sound different than before.

I am not familiar with low calcium, but I am sure Mrs. D. will be familiar with it.

Glad to see you're back, missed you!

but always had all my supporters like you on my mind.

Not having insurance is just crappy..

but honesstly its a good change...was tierd of repeating my self and doctors just nodding...

But unfortunalty there are some very important and expensive blood work, that i wish i had known about before...I should have gotten done while I had insurance.

Lightbulb

Low calcium implies poor Vit D3 availability, or poor dietary intake.

The body will rob the bones for calcium if there is a low situation.
However, muscles will suffer in the meantime.

Tight skin, which gets hard, loses flexibility, and becomes shiney is a sign of scleroderma, which is an autoimmune disease.

How is the gluten free going?

I guess you could say I am in the holding position. No dx. and not holding my breathe in getting one. I am now taking the generic form of Elavil (30mg. at bedtime), still taking Gabapentin too (900mg.) Symptoms are fairly well under control.

I can relate to what you are saying about dr's nodding their heads. Mine usually cock their heads in question when I start telling my symptoms, except for my current neuro, he seems to understand me, and of course I know my friends on neruotalk do!!
