Default new symptoms

hello.... i was diagnosed with pm 5 years ago.... all i know is my neurologist said i had mild neuropathy.. never said what kind my main symptoms were burning feet and somethimes hands ocassional burning in my shoulders .. i haven't been back to him since........ my pain was never that bad 1-3 usually... it stayed pretty constant and actually seemed to improv and stayed the same for 5 years ... this past month i've been getting burning many more places.. feet top of feet , legs shoulders etc.... still not terrible pain.. but i'm freaked out again and very anxious.... i asked my neurolgist 5 years ago my prognosis and he said good... that it is very slow developing.... could it suddenly get much worse .... i'm hoping it is ajust a flare but its been almost 2 months now.....can it improve like it did before....or does this mean its progressing i have a appointment with a new doctor next week....i don't have my old records because my old doctor passed away... also if someone could give me some coping tips or a link it would be appreciated... thank you
