Tongue

This is a homeopathic product. Belief is its main selling point.

The dilutions of all the ingredients are immense.
Quote:
Each active ingredient contains equal
volumes of 10X,20X, 30X potencies.
from http://www.neuroveen.com/

By the time things are diluted to the extreme as in this product, there are no molecules left:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeopathy
Quote:
24X, D24 12C 10−24 Has a 60% probability of containing one molecule of original material if one mole of the original substance was used.

Hi Dan,
Welcome. Just wanted to kindly ask you in case you find any relief from this product, please let us know, I am also curious to see if homeopathy works for neuropathy. I am a bit of skeptical because I don't understand very well the way it works...it seems the substances are so diluted that they couldn't possibly be effective.
But if I find aything that seems to help, I am ready to try it, unless there are no side effects.
I am also taking dozens of vitamins and also antioxidants and a homeopathic scheme, and I couldn't tell if I ever improve, what helped most....

Hi Dan,

I do use homeopathy and have had success with it. However, it can be pretty difficult to get the right remedy and dosing for the individual. So I just want to caution you that when someone sells a product with such a broad range of remedies for a symptom(s) like PN, or even headaches, your chances of it really working are lessened. When working with homeopathy, it's very tailored to the individual. You really have to be tuned in to your body and monitor the responses which can be immediate, or like anything else, take time.

This product approaches the problem as an acute problem versus chronic. In homeopathy, it's important to find the one or two remedies that fit you, overall. Sometimes called a constitutional remedy and then combine it with others to deal with symptoms. If you can afford the $30 and want to try it, there's no risk. If you find even a little bit of improvement with it, then you may be onto something and may want to pursue it. BTW, for a price point check, if you were to buy each remedy on its own, you would spend about $7 -11 per remedy. If you try it, take is either 1/2 before eating or one hour after. Make sure there are no strong tastes in your mouth when you do.

Lastly, for the inexperienced, it can be difficult to assess if the remedy is working for you as responses can vary. Some feel worse for a while before they feel better. Sometimes, the initial response is just an improved sense of wellbeing mentally before any physical improvements are apparent. And one of the biggest challenges for homeopathy, is the interference from drugs.

I know there's lots of controversy about homeopathy but I keep running into people who have used it for some very serious stuff where all other medicines have failed them and they have experienced great turnarounds in their health. Most, work with a professional and spend about a six months to year on it.

Thanks for posting this. I will be be looking at each remedy on the box and see if any resonate for John.

My mother experiences strange sensations in her feet (she can’t describe it, according to her). At my suggestion, she bought a bottle of Neuroveen and it helped! She then stopped taking it but over time the problem crept back. So she’ll take it again until the sensations change.

Btw, she saw a website regarding MGBright and their monomagnesium malate. Does anyone here have any experience with that product?

Also, I want to explain homeopathy a bit to the folks who have posted here. It has been used in Europe (primarily Germany and France) for around 300 years. The concept is indeed a “like attracts like” idea. And, as in vaccines, infestimal amounts are introduced into the body, which triggers a system “fight” response. Vaccines = macrophages eating microbes then spitting antigens into your lymph nodes to create lymphocytes (what? a CRAZY system which WORKS).

As I understand it, homeopathy works on a VIBRATIONAL level. To be a homeopathic “remedy,” the substance (arsenic, lead, etc.) must be distilled down so that it crosses from the physical into a vibrational state. (Yup, as nuts as The Higgs Boson particle or God particle, recently proven to exist.) Thereafter a remedy will either resonate with your illness and change or “cure” the problem or ... DO NOTHING. Which every medical student is taught as The Hippocratic Oath: “first, do no harm.” And this is why homeopathy is safe for adults, children and animals (and probably plants).

In addition to a homeopathic remedy, there are homeopathic “compounds.” Compounds contain several remedies in one handy dissolvable pill. The ones that resonate help you; the other ones do not harm you. (For example, I took a cough/sore throat/congestion compound for three days which cured a deep cough and congestion I had for weeks.) Be aware that most homeopaths and box instructions advise you to take the little pills under your tongue (sublingually) and hopefully without touching them (put them in the cap and then into your mouth). True for both remedies and compounds.

If your dis-ease is severe, it may not be “cured” completely. At that point, as Marlene suggests, you may wish to consult with an individual homeopath so they can focus more specifically on your overall problems.

So, believe it or not. The good part is that one can use homeopathy in addition to other modalities. And you don't even have to know it's homeopathic (e.g. Oscillococcinum, sold in common drug stores)!
