Default It's been a while

I'm sure Bob can agree with me on the "cocktail" aspect of this disorder. I just thank my lucky stars that my peripheral neuropathy has never progressed beyond my toes. That's not to say that it isn't a painful and sometimes very frustrating disorder. I continue to have problems with shoes that touch the tips of my toes. Waking up with pain, when the evening meds have worn off.

But, my cocktail of Lyrica and Tramadol has been a life saver! Together, there are times, when I actually have almost complete relief. It is those times, however, that I have those same old feelings of...."hey, just maybe it isn't....but...it IS!

I want to thank the people that were there for me when I was clueless as to what I was dealing with and how I would go about treating my PN. I want to thank Bob in particular. The cocktail works Bob!!!

Glad to hear it.
The same meds work for me as well
(at the moment) and hope that they continue
to do so for a while to come.
My mix of Tramadol & Neurontin worked for almost 7 years
before I was forced to look for an alternative and found Lyrica.
The year between the start of the search and the date Lyrica
came on the market was a tumultuous one, filled with fear, anxiety,
trepidation, and most of all....... pain.
So...... 'Been there....done that!"
Just trying to pass along the pitfalls and successes I've had. Glad it has helped.

Hey I am glad to hear you found a mix that helps you get relief. It helps me hold to hope. I try to remind myself it just takes the right treatment or doctor to get relief. Hope it continues.

Default Take the same mix

I also take Lyrica and and Tramadol. This is the best combination for me. I take 3 Lyrica (150mg) 3 times a day and 4 Tramadol whenever. Sometimes - most times actually, I take 3 at a time and that will hold me the rest of the day and night. How much do you all take and in what combinations?
