Does anyone know anything about bilateral, idiopathic Spinal Accessory Nerve palsy?
These cranial nerves have simply stopped working, and since they are the ones that enervate the trap muscles, mine are paralyzed. The left nerve quit in '07 and the right in '09. True to the neurologist's info, there is some improvement after 3-4 years, although not significant enough to allow the trap muscles to work again or regain the deformity of the shoulder. I have searched the web so many times and have come up pretty empty. |
