Default Question regarding obtaining the Shingles Vaccine

I am 51 years old and suffer from an idiopathic Small Fiber Neuropathy. I also had Chicken Pox as a child. That said, I would like to now ask the pros here whether I should get the Shingles Vaccine, given that I am only 51 years old.

Another concern is whether getting the vaccine might impact my current neuropathy in a negative way.

Thoughts?
