Jan 2011 level 19 ng/ml range 30-100. Started on and continue 1000 ius daily. Told it was normal in May, waiting for my records to be given to me (prob end of month). I eat a good balanced diet, go out into the sun, do not take any meds that would interfer with absorbtion. Until I found this forum, I had a "so what" attitude.
Normal is not 30 anymore. Normal is now 50. But it is your decision if you want to increase from 1000IU daily. 1000IU D3 for every 10 units you need to increase. You can figure that from your test results, which you don't have exactly. D3 taken daily is better than the old RX D2. Much better and more effective.

One does not benefit from the new cancer prevention effects of D, until you reach 70 in your testing.
