I used to have a beautician I went to regularly for waxing. She knew I had PN and a few other issues and I told her that I wax because I couldn't afford to nick myself shaving.
The last time I went to her, for some reason she rushed the wax job and ripped the strips off too quick and the wrong way. She literally burnt my left shin. I didn't notice it because I couldn't feel it; when I got into the shower I noticed it and for the life of me couldn'tremember scraping up against anything, or dropping anything...and if it had been hot water burn the rest of my foot would have been inflamed and it wasn't. It took ages to heal and there is still a scar there. So if any of you do have any waxing done, remind your beautician that you have PN and can't afford any burns or skin loss. My legs are so over grown now that I'll need a permit for deforestation before I go to another beautician...but at least she'll have plenty of hair to grab onto.
