Funny that you mention Lisinopril, MrsD. I have been on it for the past decade until I got PN, then my blood pressure dropped and I no longer need HBP medication. My heart rate went way down too, 45-50 resting HR. :confused:

I had a horrible bradykinin overload attack on that lisinopril... ACE inhibitor. It was actually making my BP go up, with the stress/swelling and pain it was causing me. I am now controlled with a small dose of beta blocker daily + the magnesium lotion.

I have hereditary angioedema, and cannot metabolize the bradykinin away like other people.

I think a lot of people have difficulty tolerating Lisinopril and ACE inhibitors in general. The cough! :eek:
