If it hasn't been used yet- even tho the 72 hrs is past - I'd still contact the company higher up than the sales person..and tell them of the misinformation given to your husband to make the sale, and request to return it & get your money back.
If they refuse then contact media & BBB.. sometimes a letter from an atty threatening legal action will work to change their mind. sell it yourself on Craigslist or newspaper classifieds ?? or donate it and take full cost for tax deduction?? |

Yup, the jury is in....... Guilty on all accounts to the vendor regarding misrepresentation. To the stocks with them.
