I have been using Lyrica 50mg at bedtime during a recent period of nonstop small-fiber neuropathy. Even at that low dose I find that I sleep great and then wake up free of small-fiber pain.
What is interesting is that even though I only took that one small 50mg dose at bedtime it seems to have had a relatively long-lasting pain killing effect. Perhaps it is the simple act of temporarily shutting down the overactive nerves (and pain signals) that then allows the body to re-regulate the nerve signals. |
