Default For NOONG.

Dear Noong,
I promised last year to be your honorary Aunt, so here you have the Easter guessing letter of 2007 for grandchildren, nephews and nieces, including honoraries.

love from Tante Birte

I really thought that Spring was here
The birds were singing, the sky was clear.
The Robins, tricked by the early heat
came back in flocks from their Winter retreat
The sun was as warm as it is in May
It really felt as if Spring would stay.

Today when I look out my window I seem
To see the landscape all covered in cream.
The garden looks like an ice cream dessert
I can’t see the least little speck of dirt
The bird feeder sports a white beret
It looks like Christmas outside today

But nature is busy under the snow,
The Bulbs are working to put on their show
Of beautiful flowers in colors divine.
The snow will soon melt and all will be fine
In good time for Easter and egg hunts and fun
By then you will know Spring has really begun.

The Easter bunny has been to the store
With his basket to buy easter eggs and much more,
Like chocolate chicks and Jelly beans
And you must know what that all means
It means you might get a tummy ache
If you eat it all up, so do take a break.
