Red face new pn sufferer. please help!

hi all,
I'm trev from england. I have read many of yer posts and ye're support for each other is very encouraging.3 months ago i noticed tingling and minor pain in my hands and feet. i was stressed at the time and went to the doc he gave me inflammatories. never used them and the pain gradually subsided so forgot about it.
then about a week ago i had a severly bad day. extreme fatigue, weak ankles and wrists, tingling and the odd darting pain around the body. also i noticed my penis was inflammed . i hear inflammation damages the nerves even more so and i have already noticed less sensation down there because of the inflammation. i also think its killing my sperm and reducing testosterone. this is extremely worrying as i am a young single man in my twenties who needs it badly. pain has slightly subsided since but still noticeable.
went to doc again and he referred me to a neuroligist. he did very basic tests and told me come back if the syptoms worsen. i cant wait.
what brought on these symptoms i dont know? i enjoy drinking and have drank more than i should the last few college years but i'm no alcoholic. i was working in comtaminants for a few months? 2 months before i noticed these symptoms i actually went about improving my lifestyle. i ate very well and pushed myself in the gym. stress was a factor.
have continued eating very well. taking vitamins. no alcohol since second outbreak.
man in dire straits.any advice would be great! will it get worse? can nerves be fully repaired? any successful similar stories? and any advice on the penile inflammation. best wishes to ye all! thanks
