My neuro I saw in Sydney recently advised me against taking tramadol because it can cause seizures... well not while Im taking anti seizure meds as well it wont :rolleyes:

Neither of my docs have warned me about quitting Lyrica and both are Neuros. My take is they expect us not to quit unless informing them first ?

I believe only in high doses does Tramadol carry this risk.
It can also be combined with SSRIs and increase seizure risk too.

People with a pre-existing seizure history, should avoid too.
