Default K-Laser Treatment for my burning

I found a PT around my area who has one of these K-Laser Class 4 devices.

As of four months ago I developed allodynia (sunburn like pain) in my upper back, triceps, and back of my neck. ITs driving me crazy and you can read through my posts for more of my history.

Anyway, since there was a thread started using class II/III low level laser, I'd figure Id start one up with respect to the is Class IV laser.

I found this link of supposed people (No actors or paid pretend people) who actually had nuropathies who benefited from the laser.
I just got my first treatment tonight. ITs was 12W and it was for about 10 mins or so. We are going to start with two sessions a week and see how I respond.

I can tell you it felt like a soothing warm sensation over my skin. He mentioned I could be sore the next day which is normal and it shouldn't last more then a day. I cant tell for sure right now if my soreness is related to treatment or the consultation, as this was the first time I met with this particular physical therapist and the initial consultation required he an evaluational examination. I stressed that I didn't want my back to be touch too much as it would irritate my condition.

Of course between the laser and the exam, there was some contact, so it could of also contributed to my pain. I guess I will have to wait and see. My next laser treatment is Friday. He doesn't want to rush it and recommends this first week to go two treatments only.

I will continue to update the thread with how I am progressing.
