I know I have already explained that my neuropathy has spread very quickly over just a few months I have become numb from head to toe, I know this is a difficult question obviously, but what diseases present with this kind of rapid onset? I am grasping for answers because I don't have any yet, the Docs won't treat me with much because they don't know what they are treating, I also had my last neuro Doc tell me that if the onset of this was caused by a viral infection that it indeed could go away but may take a year or two. Things that spread rapidly are often infectious, or autoimmune.

Some high dose poisonings also spread quickly. Much faster than what you have experienced.

GBS is very fast onset... following a vaccine, or infection. Antibodies attack the nervous system, there as well.

There are two ways for damage to occur.

One is a direct assault, by the organism or toxin.

The second is that the body mounts an immune response to
the infectious attack, and when the infection is gone, the antibodies remain, and contain DNA strands similar to nerve tissue and then attack it. It stops when the antibodies are removed finally and/or no longer made. This happens in some people with Strep, for example...develop Tourette's, called PANDAs. It is only one example, and doctors believe it could happen with other bacteria and/or viruses.

A third way is when inflammatory chemicals called cytokines, are formed in too great an amount, and these inflame nerves and joints and other tissues. A cytokine "storm" often follows some vaccines. And this is what your pertussis vaccine could be a culprit for.

So is it possible to clear up on it's own? Jan

yes, but it is not often a quick process.

i wouldn't get any more vaccines.

Oh believe me I won't! Thank you MrsD you have been of great help to me. I still have more questions about ALA, I was thinking I should start at a very low dose, I have heart palps so starting this scares me to death, what do you think about a very low dose? Thanks

Yes you can start low, but low doesn't do much either. It is sort of a double bind.
