Oh, thanks for coming on with that information!
I didn't see it at WalMart last time I was there. Is it with the epsom salts, or with the pain rubs? Those are in different spots in different aisles! WhoooHoooo! Here it is: http://www.walmart.com/search/search...h_constraint=0 and http://www.walmart.com/ip/Morton-Uns...fl-oz/23711655 And less expensive too! (also my blood pressure has been so much better using it too! My doctor asked what I was doing, to get away with such a low dose on my new medication--- I told her about the Epsom lotion! )

Reviving this old thread because all of a sudden, Morton's Epsom lotion is gone again! Not at Walmart, Walgreens, etc -- and on Amazon it is $24 per 8oz bottle! I wrote to the company, waiting to hear back.
Can anyone find it locally? I assume it's widespread if Amazon can command that price... Quote:

According to the website they still carry it. If you put your zip code it will list the stores closest to you that have it. I bought 4 bottles the last time we had this scare so I haven't personally checked the stores lately

How much would you recommend for a soak. And perhaps for how long should one soak? I have very nice Epsom salts coming from San Francisco.

I find soaking in lukewarm water for about 1/2 hr effective. Usually 6 to 8 ounces in a bathtub amount of water per soak.
I searched on Walgreens and they have it listed as "out of stock" for the lotion. I have seen Amazon put the price up to $24 in the past for short periods of time, but it always came back to about $6. WalMart still shows out of stock. But they have Dr. Teals magnesium body lotion: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dr-Teal-s-...ingMethod=p13n http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dr-Teal-s-...ingMethod=p13n Seems Dr. Teal's has several types. I just called Morton's up on their consumer phone # ... it is really discontinued. I have 3 bottles stocked up....so far. I guess Dr. Teal's will be the next option to explore now. I'll put one in my Amazon wish list for now when I make my next order there. DANG... I am so miffed about this. Apparently Dr. Teal's has scent... I don't want scented! The gal at Morton's, said some stores may still have some on shelf (but not on the websites). So hubby is out at Walgreen's near us to check that out.

I checked with my local Walgreen's last week and they were out of it. The gal that looked said they're probably no longer carrying it. I use Dr Teal's ..it does have a scent (ginger & clay) but I don't mind it. Cliffman |

I purchased this for soaking and possible ingestion when/if I use activated charcoal or clay as a dfetox: http://www.amazon.com/Epsoak-Epsom-S.../dp/B004N7DQHA

There are 3 Walgreen's near us. Hubby went to the usual closest one and they were out. But the manager there plugged in the code in the cash register/computer and found one bottle 2.5miles from that location...which hubby bought on the way home. They pulled it from the shelf and kept it up front for him to pick up.
I thought that was very helpful for them to do. Morton's allows me to use very small amounts of a beta blocker for my long term hypertension....This alone is worth it. I just had a doctor's appt last week, and my blood pressure remains normal ...compared to when I took 3 drugs and still had some elevations. Morton's also helps me sleep. It is very calming if applied to my inner wrists and arms at night.

It is/was part of my regiment. What a bummer. I guess I will be scented from here on out.

When I checked last night online there were 3 stores by me that listed in stock so I wasn't worried.. I just checked now and only 1 store has it (according to online info.) I'm calling right now to see if they will hold for me. I am sorry if I mislead anyone but that was the info I had
