A friend of mine who had Stage 3 Colon Cancer also had Chemotherapy which apparently cured it.
However, it also left her with numb feet. Would any of our traditionally-discussed supplements (R-Lipoic Acid, ect.) potentially reverse some or all of the numbness? Mrs. D? Others? |

There are studies on chemo PN and acetyl carnitine.
I'd definitely start the carnitine at 2 grams a day in divided doses, and the R-lipoic would not hurt either. Chemo damage is mitochondrial damage. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18078936 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17696592 There is a decade of research into the effectiveness of carnitine for other mito/drug damage, in the HIV community. Ideally this would have been more effective given WITH the chemo, but I'd try it anyway. Although there is no research on the PQQ supplement specifically with chemo, I'd try it too... nothing to lose.
