Smile Sometimes you have to take a chance

I am taking a chance by taking very high doses of Lyrica. I never found relief for my unilataral numbness and burning until I accidentally took too much Lyrica. It is not going to last forever and I have a very high creatinine clearance (146)=excellent kidney function. I also take 3600mg of Neurontin so I may be out of my mind doing it but it beats taking narcotics any day. For those of you on the fence on this take a shot at prescribed Lyrica at recommended doses for PN.

Yes, IMO that is taking a chance, and I'm a little confused by the logic. How does illegally abusing a controlled substance (Lyrica) "beat" taking a legally prescribed medication (narcotic or otherwise), according to directions, any day?

Drug abuse is drug abuse.

Just be careful. I had to stop taking Lyrica it did a job on me emotionally. I would hate to see you have emotional issues from it.
